About Brian

Brian Schimmel is a 30-year resident of Forest Grove, where he raised his two children with his wife, Barb. He credits family for his enthusiasm for public service, drawing inspiration from their activism for people experiencing personal hardship. Following a 19-year corporate career, for the past decade, Brian has administered public service projects and led cross-discipline groups benefiting residents of Western Washington County. He currently serves on the Forest Grove City Council.
